Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, Acupuncture is one of the oldest and most commonly used medical treatments in the world. Hundreds of acupuncture points in the human body are connected by pathways of energy called meridians. This energy regulates our spiritual, emotional, mental and physical well-being. Disruptions to these pathways are believed to be responsible for disease.

Hair-thin needles are gently inserted at specific points on the body to help balance the Yin and Yang, unblock stagnant energy and restore health to the body and mind. Millions of Americans have safely received acupuncture for the treatment of a broad spectrum of health conditions including pain relief. Eric's technique is gentle and calming.

Many clients choose to receive a combination session, since a synergistic effect is created when receiving acupuncture followed by Thai Yoga Massage. Acupuncture opens the body's energy meridians and allows a person to be more receptive to bodywork.

The World Health Organization recognizes more than 43 clinical conditions as appropriate for treatment with Acupuncture and Oriental medicine, including the following:
