Thai Yoga Massage Certification Program The Certification Program consists of the following components: >
Introduction to Thai Yoga Massage Level 1.
> Thai Yoga Massage Level 2 Intensive. > To take Level 3, you must receive a 90-minute Thai Yoga Massage from the instructor and log 10 hours of documented practice. > Thai Yoga Massage Level 3 Intensive. > To take Level 4, you must give a 90-minute Thai Yoga Massage to the instructor and log 10 hours of documented practice. > Thai Yoga Massage Level 4 Intensive. > To take Level 5, you must give a 120-minute Thai Yoga Massage to the instructor and log 10 hours of documented practice. > Thai Yoga Massage Level 5 Intensive. > You then have up to six months to give a 150-minute Thai Yoga Massage to the instructor and log 10 hours of documented practice. All sessions given to the instructor include constructive feedback to assist the workshop participant in improving and refining their skills. The Introductory workshop introduces the history and philosophy of Thai Yoga Massage, the principles, techniques, themes and body mechanics involved in the practice, as well as 30 distinct poses. Level 2 introduces the Sen energy lines, as well as 30 distinct poses. Levels 3, 4, and 5 each introduce 30 distinct advanced poses. For a more complete description of each level, see the course descriptions page. Workshop participants have up to six months after completing Level 5 to fulfill their post-Level 5 requirements. Eric Spivack is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider.
